London, United Kingdom | AFP | Sunderland were relegated to England’s third tier for the first time in 30 years on Saturday as the Championship’s bottom club lost 2-1 to fellow strugglers Burton.Chris Coleman’s side have crashed into League One only a year after being relegated from the Premier League. They have played only one season outside the top two tiers of English football in their entire history, winning promotion from the old Third Division in 1987-88. Burton striker Darren Bent returned to haunt his former team with an 86th-minute equaliser to cancel out Paddy McNair’s opener on 34 minutes at the Stadium of Light.Liam Boyce headed second-bottom Burton in front in second half stoppage-time before Sunderland had a late equaliser disallowed to provide a fitting finale to their wretched season.Sunderland are six points from safety with only two matches left and the remaining fixtures of their relegation rivals make it mathematically impossible to avoid the drop. Coleman, who took over from Simon Grayson in November, said: “Firstly I would like to apologise to everyone for coming up short, ultimately not having what was needed.“It’s a brutal experience and the disappointment is huge. Forty-four games we are into the season and we haven’t been good enough. “I don’t know where this club goes. We have not been told what’s what. I don’t know what the plan is.“Right now it’s very raw, it’s just happened. It’s brutally painful.“I have been here two minutes, the supporters have been here for years I can only imagine how they are feeling.”Share on: WhatsApp Pages: 1 2

If you want to do a lot of smaller braids etc in your hair these do the job flawlessly nicely. They also occur off your hair neatly without acquiring to tug like with some elastics (which leaves a heap of hair nonetheless on the elastic when you have managed to get it out) but they have a single use for each elastic. They stretch out an ridiculous amount after the initially use which makes them far too massive and vulnerable to snapping. If you, like me, want to use elastics like these every single at the time in a while, then these are affordable and will do perfectly. But if you’re right after a little something a little bit far more resilient (like those people elastics for retainers you can get at the dentists place of work) these usually are not for you.Just what they really should be. They are pleasant and stretchy and long lasting more than enough for what they are. I use them to safe braids or more compact sections of hair, from time to time even a pony tail if i want an easy messy seem. My hair is thick, relatively extended and very slidy. (not meant for protected, good pony tails. Which appears to be what some folks received them for. Theyre perfect for braids)only trouble i have is that they simply cannot be reused, once you extend it it does not get back shape and so has to be gotten rid of. But there are heaps in below and so they are really superior benefit for revenue.Ideal for what we essential – arrived in excellent time. Had go through loads of assessments expressing they would snap but didnt. Didnt use them for hair though, employed them as elastic bands to safe product on major of our chutney jars for our marriage favours :).Key specs for Set of 12 Black Thick Snag Free Endless Hair Elastics Bobbles Hair Bands:Enter your model number above to make sure this fits.Set of 12 Snag Free Endless Hair ElasticsDiameter: 4.5cm (1.8″) Un-StretchedThickness: 0.3cm (0.1″)A Great Basic for your Hair WardrobeSuitable for all Hair TypesComments from buyers“This did not seem like a good sign but it was a few weeks , Good for the little things, Exactly what they should be”Coming from somebody else who is so picky about the items they purchase and reads by means of critiques beforehand, examining the testimonials that are quite negative and i’m like what?. Of course if they are tiny elastic ties they’re not gonna tie up your complete pony tail consequently them becoming small. Seriously excellent cost for the item you get. They may only final a single use every single but you get 250 in a pack so just buy extra if you genuinely want a lot more ? once again, fab for the selling price.I bought this products to use when tying my hair in little braids. They are helpful, theres a good deal of them, but they do kinda get all about the location and are fairly fiddly when seeking to stretch them all-around your hair. They are no superior for thick hair, just useful for boho styles when incorporating modest braids and tying ends off. This did not look like a very good signal but it was a few weeks. Honestly, the really very first 1 i lifted snapped when i was placing it on my hair. This did not appear to be like a fantastic indication but it was a number of weeks in the past and no other has in fact snapped. I couple have sort of stretched and gobe skinny but in fairness that always takes place following a although and they are very economical.
Share Facebook Twitter Google + LinkedIn Pinterest Two days of dry weather over Ohio, starting today. In fact, we are even giving a mostly dry outlook for far eastern Ohio today. There will be some clouds moving through from time to time, and sure, we cant completely rule out a spit or a sprinkle, but the threat of moisture is not nearly what we saw 24 hours ago, and its enough for us to go dry. Tomorrow also should be dry statewide as we await the arrival of or next front. Rain and thunderstorms move through Thursday and Friday, bringing .25″-.75″ with 95% coverage. We have a brief break Friday night, but then have additional rains back in over a good chunk of Ohio for Saturday. The rains mostly stay south of US 30, and those areas we can see anywhere from .25″-1.5″, with thunderstorms being the key to 1″+ rains. The heaviest rains will be in SW Ohio as a cluster of strong thunderstorms has potential to kick off there, and we expect 60% coverage of rains south of US 30 for the event. Dry Sunday through midday Monday. Our next potentially strong system arrives Monday late afternoon or evening, and the holds through the entire day Tuesday. This system has plenty of moisture, with half to 1.5” rains over 70% of the state. While wrap around moisture tries to hold farther west on Wednesday, there looks to be a sizable dry slot coming in the way the set up is right now, and that will allow for most of the state at midweek, except in eastern and northeastern Ohio, where we can see scattered showers and .25″-.5″ rain potential. The map at right shows one estimate on combined rain totals from Thursday through next Wednesday. We get a nice 4-day dry stretch as we finish the 10-day period and move into the extended window. Sunshine and blue sky dominate from next Thursday through the weekend. This should be a time of excellent evaporation and good dry down in nearly all areas. Then for the balance of the 11-16 day period, we have 2 threats of rain. Scattered showers bringing a half an inch or less for Monday the 27th, and then a stronger, slow moving front sweeping from NW to SE on the 29th and 30th, triggering some .25”-1” rains. Both systems should have 70% coverage. Temperatures through the next two weeks should be normal on average for the period. We may see some warming to slightly above normal levels later this week but will offset those with a couple of days slightly below normal. This means we still see no heat stress for crops, and when you look at the total moisture potential through the period, we have nearly perfect rains too – unless any of these storms bring higher than expected rains (which may be a slight concern at this time.

A team of officials from the Election Commission of India (ECI) will visit Maharashtra on Tuesday to assess preparations before announcing dates for the Assembly election. The team, headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora, is likely to hold meetings over the next two days with officials from the State government, Maharashtra Police, Railways, Income Tax, Excise and other departments involved in preparation for the elections due in October.“The three-member team will hold meetings for the next two days and is likely to announce a date on September 19 (Thursday),” a senior official said. Assembly elections are due in Maharashtra, Haryana and Jharkhand this year. Officials said Maharashtra could see polling in two phases, while Jharkhand, which had voted in five phases in 2014, may see a different pattern this time.Senior officials of the State Election Commission said once the date is announced, they would need a minimum of 35 days to prepare for polls. The process is likely to get over, as per tradition, before Diwali holidays, which end on October 27, said a senior official. The State government is also likely to make a requisition to the ECI and the Central government for additional police force if necessary as part of law and order requirements leading up to the elections. The team will hold meetings with divisional commissioners, collectors and leaders of political parties during the visit. Earlier, in the wake of the floods, the district administrations had written to the government requesting that the elections be deferred due to severe damage in western Maharashtra. Chief Secretary Ajoy Mehta held meetings in this regard last month and directed officials to ensure all possible efforts are made to continue poll preparations in flood-affected areas, said officials.
Imagine a joint India-Pakistan Twenty20 league , combining the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the upcoming tournament across the border. That is just what Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Muhammad Zaka Ashraf dreams about, as part of his “futuristic approach” towards bringing the countries closer through cricket.A gung-ho Ashraf revealed his “far sightedness” a day after the Indian government cleared the Pakistani team’s visit to India in December-January for a short series – the first one in five years.Ashraf also said the PCB would soon invite Indian players for its own Twenty20 league that will be launched on March 25, a day after Pakistan’s tour of South Africa ends.”I have a futuristic approach and I see a joint India-Pakistan twenty20 league. If the two leagues are combined, it would be the biggest league in the world. Imagine what that league would do,” Ashraf told Mail Today in an exclusive interview.”I am talking about future. This is my far sightedness. First, the bilateral series should be revised, which is being done, and then we can have a joint India-Pakistan twenty20 league,” he wished.PCB chief Zaka Ashraf Ashraf, who had a first-hand experience of the IPL’s success in May when he watched the final in Chennai on a BCCI invitation, said it was the first time he was sharing his plan of a joint T20 league. “I have not discussed this plan with anyone, including the BCCI,” he said.Asked whether the cash-rich IPL needs a helping hand at all, since it has already been established as a successful T20 competition, the PCB chief said all businesses continuously need to innovate and improve.”All businesses need new products. IPL also needs new products [to continue to flourish]. And there would be no problem in scheduling a joint league,” he said.Interestingly, PCB’s own proposed twenty20 league has not taken off as yet. Ashraf, however, said that it would definitely start immediately after Pakistan’s tour of South Africa in March.”The league would start a day after the Pakistan’s tour. It would be a short tournament, though in subsequent years it would become a longer one,” he said.advertisementAccording to the schedule, the Pakistan T20 league would be an eight-day affair and will start on March 25.Ashraf said that foreign players, including Indians, would be invited for the league. “We will invite foreign players. We will also invite Indian players, though I know that the BCCI doesn’t allow them to play in such leagues abroad,” he said. “But we don’t see any boundaries; there are no boundaries in cricket.”The Pakistan league would not clash with the 2013 IPL as it ends with the final on April 1 while the Indian league runs from April 3 to May 26.Ashraf also demanded that Pakistani players be permitted to ply their trade in the lucrative IPL.”Pakistanis should be allowed to play in the IPL; it is a good tournament. Both India and Pakistan should release their players for each other. That would encourage and strengthen bilateral ties,” he said.Pakistanis played in the just one IPL edition, the opening one in 2008, before the bilateral cricket ties were snapped following the Mumbai terror attacks in November that year.Asked if the issue of IPL was raised when he met BCCI president N Srinivasan during the recent World T20 in Sri Lanka, Ashraf said: “We did not discuss IPL. Once the bilateral series starts, we can talk about that.”The bilateral series is now set to resume on December 25 with the first of the two Twenty20 Internationals in Bangalore. The short series would also comprise three One-day Internationals.
