In 1988 he became only the 10th player in NFL history to accumulate more than 2000 combined rushing and receiving yards in a single season.The Atlanta Falcons’ first-year coach, Dan Quinn, said “there would be room” for Walker on the Falcons’ squad, the News reported. “He’s one of my all-time favorite players” said Quinn, who at 44 is nine years younger than Walker.
