Bajaj Qute launch scheduled in India on April 18, prices expected to start from Rs 2.63 lakh

first_imgBajaj will launch its compact quadricycle Qute in India on April 18. While the petrol variant of Bajaj Qute is expected to be priced at Rs 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the CNG-variant might cost Rs 20,000 more at Rs 2.83 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).Designed for intra city travel, Bajaj Qute gets a 216.6 cc, four-stroke, twin spark-ignition, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The petrol variant delivers 9.70 KW of power and 18.9 Nm of torque and the CNG variant is good for 8.08 KW of power and 16.1 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. Bajaj claims mileage figures of 35 km/l for the petrol variant and 43 km/kg for the CNG variant.Bajaj Qute has a length and width of 2,752 mm and 1,312 mm, respectively. While the height is 1,652 mm, the wheelbase is 1,925 mm. It gets a small turning radius of 3.5 metres. Bajaj Qute can accommodate four people, including the driver. With a kerb weight of 451 kg, the quadricycle can touch a maximum speed of 70 kmph.According to the company, Qute gets a high strength monocoque body and impact-resistant plastic closures along with lockable doors, hard rooftop and front and rear seatbelts.
